The projectionists' favourite tapes, their favourites and those of the public from this year's programme. Why not dare to ask for your favourite? Open end.

Running on the last day of the programme, the Long Video-Night became from its inception a must-go of the festival: a whole night of projections of the videos and films of the festival's programme. Already on the catalogue from each year, the organisers hurried the audience to buy their tickets as the night was always sold out. In the trailer of transmediale '98 BESTANDSAUFNAME SEHEN / STOCKTAKING VISION the programme declares the Long Video Night "non-stop until the first U-Bahn". From 1996, it served as aftermath for the Award Ceremony. The name adapted to the changes of the festival, being the last the transmediale night in 2000.
