transmediale's publications throughout its history, from the first festival catalogues to the partner publications.
Thoughout its history, transmediale engaged in different publication projects: from the widely recognised collection across & beyond, published with Sternberg Press, to the transmediale/journal. Established in 2017, the journal is a dedicated forum for reflection and critical debate on past, present, and recurring festival themes in arts and digital culture, thematically compiled in issues. In addition, transmediale has regularly published festival- and theme-related print products. Among them are readers, exhibition catalogues, magazines, and publications resulting from the annual PhD workshop and other programme parts.
