D'Andrade is a self-taught visual artist, musician, and poet, whose work centers on trans-afro-futurism. Their artistic practice spans sound design, coding, archiving, and electronic games, focusing on Black and queer perspectives, climate change, and the influence of technology on Black thought. D'Andrade leads the Ultra-poetry archive and the electronic game series Heat Island, both exploring the intersection of art, activism, and speculative futures. In recognition of their innovative approach, D'Andrade was awarded the Durchstarten grant in 2020 and the Berliner Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung grant in 2022. They are also a recipient of the prestigious AI Anarchies Fellowship from Akademie der Künste. Their work has been showcased in international institutions such as nGbK, KINDL - Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst, Haus der Kunst der Welt, and Akademie der Kunst Berlin.
