Yörük is an interactive kilim installation that treats weaving as a living interface. Hand-woven by the artist using reclaimed wool and embedded with conductive fibres, the kilim responds to touch and presence by activating sound. The work draws from nomadic weaving traditions while operating as a contemporary system that can be entered, played, and collectively shaped by visitors. The installation functions as a nomadic infrastructure; open, adaptable, and continuously reconfigured through use.
