This year, transmediale presents two partner events with former artists-in-residence Nicole L’Huillier and Anan Fries.
On the occasion of the 39th edition of transmediale, the Schering Stiftung hosts a listening session titled Ouverture by Chilean artist, and former transmediale resident Nicole L’Huillier, in collaboration with Colombian sound artist and producer Nyksan.
The session revolves around the interactive Dream-Drums, created originally for the 36th Ljubljana Biennial in 2025. Dream-Drums are sculptures and/or instruments fitted with elastic microphone membranes that transform touch into sound.
Listening session: 29 Jan, 2026
The performance LORECORE is a live-generated video essay brought to life by three performers and a robot cat, presented by HAU with artist and former transmediale resident Anan Fries. It deals with the logic and functioning of techno-fascism. What synergies arise from the convergence of the tech industry and the New Right?
Performance dates: 30 – 31 Jan, 2026
