Professional accreditation transmediale 2027

Who is it for

The professional accreditation is for people with a decision-making role in programming, publishing, or strategic direction at institutions, universities, and independent or smaller-scale initiatives across the media art and digital culture scene.

How to apply

Applications are submitted via the online form. Please provide a CV, a portfolio, or a link to a professional website. If this does not sufficiently convey your profile and role, you may optionally add up to 500 characters describing your connection to the field.

transmediale reserves the right to approve or deny professional accreditation based on an assessment of the submitted materials. The number of accreditations is limited, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a positive reply.

Benefits

The professional accreditation includes a professional pass at the discounted rate of €65, a gathering for accredited professionals with a curatorial introduction, and access to a dedicated exhibition tour and a dedicated room for meetings (both upon registration). Accredited professionals who wish to support the festival further may opt to purchase their pass at one of the regular tier prices.

Deadline, selection, and payment

Applications are open from 15 September to 15 November 2026. All applicants will receive a reply by the end of November at the latest. Selected applicants will receive instructions to purchase the professional pass.
