Audiomapa
Audiomapa is a collaborative sound mapping platform dedicated to exploring, sharing, and archiving soundscapes, with a focus on Latin America. The platform offers different ways of listening to and navigating the archive. It allows users to play recordings individually, explore them by category or author, access random selections, and take sound journeys within territories. Its infrastructure also allows users to create their own mapping projects, either by recording specific places or by constructing imaginary cartographies. Through the recordings made by its participants, Audiomapa brings together and organizes a collection of audioscapes built collectively.
