Lahore Digital Arts Festival

Lahore Digital Arts Festival (LDF) aims to celebrate Pakistan's emerging digital culture by bringing together artists and audiences to explore the intersection of art, technology, and everything in between. LDF seeks to nurture dialogue on art accessibility, creative exchange, and experimental expression to commemorate the growing interest in art and technology. A conservative preference for traditional arts has meant the art community has been unable to give digital arts in Pakistan due attention. Despite the growing popularity of digital art in the country, traditional art galleries have yet to embrace technological innovations in artistic forms on a wider scale. The festival founded in 2019 by Dr Najam Ul Assar, brings together people from all backgrounds, whether they are artists, designers, scientists, enthusiasts, experts, or other interconnected walks of life. In doing so, LDF hopes to help digital creativity flourish and diversify art in Pakistan and South Asia at large.
