Katya Sivers is a London-based artist, designer, and researcher originally from Russia, currently in the first year of a practice-led PhD at Winchester School of Art. Katya works with digital visuality and multimedia installations, addressing broad social and political issues related to modes of coexistence and knowledge production through artistic collaboration and multidisciplinary design practices. Katya's research focuses on digital imagery and its entanglement with issues of power, control, and representation within the media landscape, and explores the politics of images in colonial and militaristic contexts, reflecting on political upheavals and technological innovations linked to existing power structures.
