In this talk–reading–performance, Lindsey A. Freeman explores proximity, closeness, and hesitation through the medium of running. Through a series of vignettes, she will show how running with and against others allows runners to touch each other, themselves, and the places they run through in unique ways that are difficult to access when still. Anan Fries will join Lindsey A. Freeman after her lecture for a conversation on being-in and sharing space.

This will be a stand-alone talk, but it will also tie into two morning sessions of the limited-time-only transmediale running club.
